This website has been a little bit neglected over the past couple years, so I think some work is in order. Some new structure, some new visuals, I'm not totally sure at this point. I just completed a move, things are settling down somewhat. I have been focusing a lot of my attention on my A Hat in Time speedruns in the past year or so, and it's a community I've really enjoyed participating in. The amount of progress I've seen over time has been thrilling, even though it's honestly not all very easy. I see a lot more failed runs than anything else, but it's absolutely worth grinding, I started to see that top runners aren't just some special kind of good. When you sit down and watch some world record run of a game, what you're not seeing is the thousands of failed runs that led them to that point, the proverbial blood sweat and tears. I have a long way to go, but I'm happy to present my current run on the leaderboard.
I have also spent an immense amount of time recently playing through Hollow Knight Silksong. What a game. In fact, perhaps I might sit on that one for a little bit, put together a proper individual post specifically about my whole experience with it. Silksong made me feel a way that I haven't since I was fresh into the souls games, and I'm absoultely here for it.
